I should add that I do use a REL R5 with them and good (Audioquest) cables, I need the resistor in, to balance the sound best. The point being that the LRS will show you any improvement/change that you make in your system. One of the biggest shocks to me was the improvement I heard when I installed some Herbies footers under the integrated amp I was using before the Ayre. I have them under everything now. I've been listening to the system a lot the last couple days and the LRS continue to impress. Kingfish's latest CD is just killer to listen too. As well as others. Thanks for all the nice comments.
