I've been getting nostalgic for a pair of Soundlabs. I still remember hearing them at a stereo store in Beaverton, OR in the mid-80s. I was surprised there was not a piano and horn player in the back room--instead a pair of early Soundlab speakers. I wish I remember what amps were driving them.
Anyway, I'm thinking about taking the plunge. I spend most of my listening time working at a desk, which is off-axis from my speakers. My current Kef Reference 207/2s sound quite good off-axis. Of course no stereo effect, but tonally they are quite satisfying. How are Soundlabs off axis?
