The next step for you, if you were so inclined, would be active biamping. I have done that on my 3.6Rs, and it's very worthwhile. The HP on your speakers, if I'm not mistaken, is first-order, which could easily be implemented with a passive line-level crossover, consisting of a single small-value capacitor at the amplifier input. The LP is second-order, which still should be able to be implemented actively fairly easily.
Marchand Electronics sells individual XM9 boards, which can be converted to second/order, from the standard fourth-order.
