I recall from the old Apogee forum a user (Vince) made cables from foil inductors to run his Scintillas with excellent results. He wrapped them with Saran wrap to avoid shorts.

I was going to do this but sold off my Apogees. I suppose I can revisit that for my Acoustats. Planned on using jantzen foil inductors, excellent and dirt cheap. I believe the cost would have been around $100!
