Affixing supplied 2 ohm resistor to DWM panels; how exactly?

Anyone got the hang of how to add the supplied 2 ohm resistors to the Bass Attenuator circuit on the Magnepan DWM? the wires seem as though they barely reach if at all! Also, if using a pair of DWMs does one add the resistors to both voice coils on each DWM or just the one nearest the single speaker cable input connection?

I'm assuming when pairing with full size panels (I.7i's) one does not wire the mains to the High Out on the DWM; that the whole purpose is to augment the full range of the mains rather than replace the lower end--correct?
