Thank you, E-Stat. The main reason I was curious is that I'm now running .7's using excellent vintage, highly-upgraded MFA tube separates and am quite happy with the SQ. But since I've contemplated going to the 1.7i, knowing what amps Nork was using would be helpful indeed. I don't know if the larger speakers are more or perhaps less difficult to drive.
