1. Ohm Micro Walsh Tall: had a pair in a small room. Very nice, filling, easy to setup and drive, beautiful finish in yellow maple.
2. Goldenear BRX: front ported so can be placed near wall. The KEF's you noted are rear ported and need to be partially plugged if moved back.
3. Proac Tablette 10: sealed box, LS3/5A sound.
Considering the need for stands, I'd go with the Ohms.
