Which of the AR pre-amp are being used, and/or is it even necessary?
I can easily avoid use of any pre-amp and send the audio signal directly into my XO. (If that ARC pre-amp is being used to attenuate signals there are much less expensive and less invasive ways to do that. (Unless, and of course, if its phono input is being used, which I don't believe to be the case.)
