PLease don't get 'prickly'......I acted to support your idea and agree 100% that the way biamp is usually done is certainly NOT best. And in some cases, not quite the best way to use extra amplifier channels.

And yes, lots has been written. On the 'clear' end of the spectrum is the article on Elliot Sound Products website. That's the one that spoke most loudly to me and made me think about it more clearly.
