EITHER, Buy a single amp of the proper power for your room / speaker combo AND consider a good Class 'A' or a High Bias design....maybe even Pass or equal
OR
Gut the speaker crossover and go ACTIVE.
Biamping with the speaekr level crossover intact doesnt' buy you much. And each amp continues to swing the entire voltage waveform.....
The advantage of active? You can completely adjust for difference in amp GAIN which will come in hand with your proposed SS / Tube setup.
