I have the EMOTIVA amps with the 1.7-nice dynamic fit. even without subs suggests a deeper bass than the numbers. But Magnepan and refit the 3.7 for the price diff I would go in that direction.Either way you will be doing well. The 1l7 can play the shit out of a lot music-and I use low priced Mgami cables.
