RE: Free Audiophile Fuses

I think you're onto the crux of it neolith. I recalled that in nearly 9 years with these speakers I have never touched the midrange fuses. I replaced the tweeter fuses 2-3 years ago after accidentally running a measurement sweep with the level turned up.

It also fits the symptom that the right channel occasionally had very high frequencies (cymbals) briefly appear far to the right, while most middle range content was panned more toward center.

Today I checked and none of the fuses were blown. I actually would have likely seen this in my measurements. But I cleaned all the contacts.

The image improved a bit again, moving so far to the far right and left that I had to adjust the toe in.
