I bought a container of this many years ago and use it in many places including fuses. Just a little dab is all you need so it's right between the actual contact points.
Some may recommend the Caig Deoxit which is a great product but there's one thing the Mapleshade does that nothing else does - if you are not careful and smear a connector from signal to ground, it nearly shorts it out.
