As you look at the MC1, the hinge is on one side and the tweeter section is on the opposite side. In your rendering the speaker on the left (right rear) is as it would be and you can see the tweeter wires to the left side of the speaker opposite the hinged side.
In order to mount the speaker on the right (left rear) as shown you would have to flip it upside down such that the wires come out the top. But the tweeter section is always opposite the hinge so the tweeter would end up inboard.
My opinion (FWIW) is that you're sitting far enough away and the speakers are behind you and the MC1's are so narrow that the actual locations of the tweeters is only different by about 4". You'll never hear it.
