Holy Cow!

When I was young I worked at a stereo store near NY City. We were in an affluent community and thus were a big McIntosh dealer. A big part of our business was the many custom installations we did at wealthy estates.

I remember a pair of (tube!)amplifiers from McIntosh that were locally called "Annihilators" which were together about the size of your Krell. I remember being told that one Annihilator was used to power all the speakers in Shea Stadium. Very impressed with the guy who bought two of them for his home stereo.
