Thanks Wazoo, glad to hear your DefTech's make you happy. I actually saved a buddy who wanted to buy some new speakers and wanted to go to Best Buy and hear some Bose. I took him to our local independent audio dealer, and he ended up buying some used pair of bi-polar DefTech's. Sorry about that Bose, well not really.

While my Magnepan 3.6s sit in the garage waiting for me to sell them. In my main system I have a demo pair of JBL 4367s, these are horn loaded with a coaxial annular midrange/tweeter. With a 15" woofer, and they weigh a healthy 130lbs, they look like JBL monitors from the 80's. But they actually have JBL's latest waveguide technology trickled down from their M2 Project. They have a wide controlled dispersion, they do not honk and have a very flat frequency response.

In my computer room I have Mini Mags with dual DWM's, they sound fantastic.
