My problem is that my room isn't long enough. That means I have to use absorption at the back and it sounds a bit dead back there. But right now, I'm delighted with the way it sounds up front. I tried putting QRD's in the corners -- second time I've done it and both times I've loved it. I also have the mid-tweet panels in some towards the center as with the 30.7's, so they don't block the backwave.
And then absorption at the first reflection points at the sides.
I'm almost at the point at which I'm ready to make the corner arrangement permanent. Not sure what the diffusers are doing to the bass traps behind them, though. Probably rendering them pretty useless . . .
