BTW, the reason I put the bass traps at an angle matching the line of the 3.7's toward the listening position ..... I stuck some aluminum foil to the ceiling and used a laser pointer from the listening position and found the long line on the ceiling that could reflect from the tweeter. After mounting the traps, I decided to put the Sonex panels up and the image improved slightly more.

I experimented with 1D diffusors overhead and just behind the listening position, but ended up with the 2D diffusors. They improved 2 channel image a bit and also filled in the surround image nicely.
