RE: 30.7's at Fairless Hills, PA - WOW

Yes, I started with the diffusors that you see on the walls on the left and right ... the vertical ridges painted gold. I couldn't find reasonably priced skylines 7 years ago so I got the 1D panels and they definitely made a difference behind the speakers. I found the skyline diffusors work to a lower frequency and scattering in all directions works because my room is still somewhat dead. I also measured some low frequency absorption, I assume due to the thickness and density of the foam.

On the ceiling half way between the speakers and couch I have two RealTraps bass traps and four Sonex panels. I wanted to get a couple bass traps on the ceiling and used them in the first reflection area. Absorption there tightened up the soundstage significantly
