The cave

After some 20 years, the wife insisted I update the "man cave." Some needed repairs - a new roof and new door. This was followed by painting and replacing on old carpet with bamboo laminate. I was afraid the floor wouldd make the room too echo-reflective but in fact the sound is just a little more lively and improved. A rug is in the works and I am not allowed to put up any pictures just yet. I am ordering new shelves for the LP's from IKEA.
The bad news is the wife has not seen the completed room as she is remaining at the beach house for the summer. When she gets back the "man" in man cave is going away. It will just be a room I will be sharing. I plan to get a neon sign that flashes "Dear, could you turn it down a tad".
