The way I would describe my setup is as if the tweeters out and 'normal' placement.
Then move the speakers to tweeter in, with the tweeters about the same position 'as if' they were out.
This moves the speakers father apart..
I am happy.
(also as the window behind is huge, it lets in more light, and I can walk past inner side of the speakers even with a chair between! Also the bookshelves in the corners are 'more' behind the speakers, which are angled.
(the chair is really low slung leather, open frame.. really it is there to just hides my amp behind it! LOL Tilted back as usual it is so low the top of the back of the chair is still below the built in air conditioner top vents under the window!)
