Not an issue on relative costs, These Maggies are high resolution speakers and thus can do more than others costing much more. Just judge with your ears and watch out for deliberately euphonic cables. Those tend to wear out their welcome in quick order. I have seen 3.6 and 3.7 based systems with painfully expensive Nordost looms that cost more than the speakers. You can DIY for less and not lose much quality. But if you can afford it you should take the cables as high up as makes a difference on the speakers and amp..
