RE: Why did they become damaged when pushed?

What kind of amp do you have? I have mine biamped w 850 on the stat and 850 on the woofer into 4 ohms. My odysseys go plenty loud. Have never had an issue and have never heard of anyone damaging their logan with high volume. Some of the older models had issues as the aged and the panel would start to get dull sounding. Mine haven't. And the new ones do not have the issue.

These are non smoking - low humidity types of speakers. I.e. Not best for the tropics. Remember the stat has a static charge so smoke, dust get attracted to the static charge on the panel.

I too am curious to Russ's comment. Not sure if he was referring to the speaker being damaged or things in the room. :)
