My stacked pair are original and not in the best condition. So I swapped them out and had a brief listen to some cone speakers I have on hand, namely the Epos ES11, Epos ES14 and B&W DM2s. Perhaps not the best speakers in the world, but it was laughable how caricatured they sounded - and I've only been listening to 57s since last November. Can't see how I can go back now.
