There aren't that many similarities to this design and the Orion. The BG driver complement and orientation create a much different (and more complicated) polar response in the mid/high region.
I don't doubt that the Serenity sounds pretty good. The basic dipole configuration is robust and has some inherent advantages (relative to conventional speakers) that can't effectively be engineered out.
