RE: Magnepan 1.6QR Update

I didn't do a pictorial when I made 'em....but it is fairly simple.

I used 2 pair of vice grips...narrow jaw. Step #1 is to measure current jumpers. They 'mic' about 0.151" in diameter. Use a ruler and 'walk' it around the long way.. Cut 4 pieces of BARE copper #6 wire to match. Straighten the wire. I used a flat surface and TAPPED with a hammer. I used a small machinists ball peen style. Bend into the U-shape. You'll need to measure and you may screw up the first wire or so.....trying to guess the radius of the bend. I'm pretty good at that and didn't mess up. I used 2 pair of vice grips.....or maybe a small pair of channel locks? But once bent and vetted to length, go ahead and grip one end with 400 grit and SPIN. This will reduce the diameter to the correct dimension.
I loafed thru making 4 jumpers in maybe just over 1/2 hour.
Pull them annually and resand...and use some DeOxit upon reinstall.
Use the allen wrench to secure 'em.......
Too much is never enough
