The bass response in this room is reduced by too much toe-in whether the tweeter is inside or outside. If you have the tweeters inside you need the toe-in to keep the phase timing correct. The tweeters on the outside may not work in all rooms, but there are no trade-offs here like reduced the bass performance. I prefer the soundstage and imaging with the tweeters outside also.My listening area is a rectangle with three sides closed in, the speakers set out from the short wall and sidewalls using the Cardas method.
