Wonder why they weren't hooked up? I thought there was going to be an A/B/(C?) comparison.

I've heard the 3.7 and thought the bass was excellent, but even then, the point Wendell makes is that bass is so room dependent you have to tailor it to a specific room. They can only tune their speakers for an average room.
