RE: typical cost of refurbing panels on 2.6's?

I think you can sometimes get a better deal on the ones without boxes, the guy will say "local pickup only." Of course, you should factor the cost of new boxes into the selling price, since you may have to sell them or ship them back to the factory. But once you do that the deal could be attractive.
