I think one should look at Roger's solution for the Sanders electrostatic speakers. He uses a stereo ESL amp for the stats and a stereo Magtech amp for the woofers. He also uses a crossover (his preference is an active crossover although he will supply a passive crossover, if requested). He would probably sell you mono amps, if you preferred.
