While I have never owned an amp made by Roger his amps have a long history of working superbly with speakers that present difficult loads and I would suspect that your soon to arrive amp will do a very nice job with your Maggies.
Have you also considered auditioning a pair of the most recent 7B-SST2 amps given your appreciation of the older "ST" version you currently have on hand? Having owned ST, SST and now SST2 amps I can advise that they are a definite step up from prior generations....
