So for reproducing acoustical music, I don't think it's possible to make a dynamic that's price competitive with a Maggie.
Note that many of us, when doing such comparative evaluations, are allowing a 1:10 price point advantage to the boxed speakers. If I'm comparing $3,000 Maggies with a pair of high end boxed speakers, I'm okay if the contestant comes in at a $30,000 price tag. Even at such a huge disadvantage, I'm finding that Maggies are hard to beat.
