I thought it was well established here that Steven Hawking consulted with Jim Winey and together they came up with M-Theory (membrane, or 'brane theory). A theory that states that vibrating 2 dimensional membranes 'collided' and formed the big bang explosion. Think panel slap between two panels. And I do believe that String Theory -1 dimensional, vibrating strings, was first suggested in the mid-'70s ... right about the time that Magnepan was creating their true ribbon tweeter. Coincidence? I think not!
