I would post on the Speaker Forum. Maggies are not for everyone and they are finicky about front end components. Also just because they work in some environments, they may not work for all. You will be listening in your home not mine :). Finally a lot people on this forum tweak their Maggies (probably a small minority of most owners) which suggests at least in part that some find something lacking although most tweakers are just looking for something more.
