for whole room applications:
1. Please use subwoofers. Any speaker whose low frequency response is above 30Hz will benefit from subs.
2. The DWM woofer is a stereo module, which means that the left and right sides of the DWM should be powered for more bass. If only one side is powered, then using dual DWMs will only give you better bass, but not more bass.
3. If you do not want to invest in dual DWMs and stereo subs, you may be better off just adding a single sub, like the Rythmik F12 or a dipole sub.
4. Please use lots of power for whole room applications. Like all Maggies, the Minis thrive on power. With enough power and subs, the Mini Maggies can work very well in moderately large rooms (26'x16'x8').
5. If you are into multi-channel audio, please consider using 2 or 3 Mini Maggies for a relatively affordable 1st class surround sound system.
