Yes, I was very impressed.
It is not a small speaker though, if that remains an issue for you. About the size of an Acoustat Monitor 3 - a little wider and much taller. perhaps by more than a foot.
It is more dynamic than your A stats and has good extension and plays louder - generally without strain but for a narrow band in the upper midrange where it can sound screechy at seriously high volume. I don't think that is a make or break and the mini Grand generation of the Stage suffered less from it than earlier ones. And there is an XO cure for it. Outside of the MG20.1 all ribbons I heard have that problem to some extent.
