I am not sure you could use a RCA with the Maggies steel posts. Personally, I would replace the binding posts on the MG-12 with decent 5-ways and terminate with spades. Of course, I have no concern for the asthetics of the connectors, especially since I rarely walk behind my speakers and FWIW my wife thinks Maggies are eyesores and the connectors are just a drop in the bucket when it comes to asthetics.
