Amplification

I'm looking for inexpensive power amps for my MG-IIIA's. Locally available Hafler 9505 for $750. Here's the specs:

Measured with both channels driven, from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz with less than.1%
THD

» Power Rating : 250 watts per channel at 8 ohms
............................375 watts per channel at 4 ohms
............................750 watts bridged at 8 ohms
» Total Harmonic Distortion :<0.2% (20Hz-20kHz)
» Signal-to-Noise Ratio : 100 dB below rated output, unweighted
» Full Power Bandwidth : 0.15Hz to 300kHz (+0/-3dB)
» Slew Rate : 150 V/μs
» Common Mode Rejection : 75dB at 1 kHz
» Input Impedance : 47k ohms per phase balanced
» Gain : +29 dB
» Input Sensitivity : 800mV (@ 8 ohms) per phase balanced
................................690mV (@ 4 ohms) per phase balanced
» Damping Factor : 1000 (to 1 kHz); 100 (to 20 kHz); 20 (to 100 kHz)
» Power Consumption : 160W / 2.0A @ 120VAC (idle power)
......................................370W / 4.2A @ 120VAC (1/8 power - 8 ohms)
......................................840W /8.8A @ 120VAC (max. power - 8 ohms)
» Dimensions H x W x D : 19" (48.3 cm) x 12 1/2" (31.75 cm) x 5 1/4" (13.3 cm)
» Net Weight : 50 lbs. (22.7 kg)

Anybody have an opinion they'd like to share? I'd love Pass, can barely afford used Bryston, and would like to spend even less than that...

Thanks for the help,
bb
