It sounds like the solution may be Magnestands or Grant's Mye Stands. It sounds like the added bass response is shaking the panels and that excess energy needs to be drained or stablized. Whether you believe the argument that stands stabilize the panels or, as PG maintains, the excessive vibration is drained by wood or stands, the benefits are going to be great. I have yet to hear anyone say there was anything less than a huge improvement with Mye stands or Magnestands. Being a cheapskate, I am using my own DIY stands and the difference is quite noticeable.I may be an egoist but at least I don't talk about other people.
