another dust cover issue with quad 63

I've got a buzz on my right speaker on certain bass notes. The salesman recommended trying to reshrink the mylar dust cover with a hair dryer. I've been at it for about a half hour with no difference in the sagging dust cover. I know most have recommended against the use of a heat gun, but my hair dryer even at high setting is doing nothing.
