Home Planar Speaker Asylum

Welcome! Need support, you got it. Or share your ideas and experiences.

With respect ...

a) it doesn't seem to be "line level" ... it seems to be "speaker level". The difference is a "line level" XO comes before the amps and has RCAs (or DINs/balanced) for ICs whereas a "speaker level" XO comes after the amp and has Binding Posts, for speaker cable.

b) as an XO it consists of a single coil and a single cap ... ie. 6dB lowpass and 6dB highpass. Yes, it's "keeping the low bass out of the Maggies and feeding only low bass to the subwoofer" but I suggest this is too low a slope to really do a good job.

Regards,

Andy
