Don't believe it. Do not sweat it...

Maggies biggest drawback (compared to most similar dynamic drivers) is the lower sensitivity. You'll use 2-3 times the power for the same playback volume. A dipole, line source speaker is in many ways a much easier speaker to set up - you don't need to wory about that nasty first floor, ceiling and wall reflection. Adjusting the tweeters in vs. out and the toe in position is all the tweeking you need to do. Sure, they need to be a bit in the room - but they are easiy to move around. If your room sounded good before Maggies, you new 1.6's will sound great!
