Well, if you've got the power, your room will probably be the next most dominant hurdle. Don't try to shoehorn them into a small space, go for the 12s instead. You will surely get the best out of either speaker if you have the luxury of placing them well away from room boudaries and don't place a big ole honking TV between them.After that it's just a matter of upgrading your front end as you desire, and maybe a xover upgrade when you really feel daring...
