I've posted prior responses to that question-I noticed a crossover overlap from the newer stock crossover design- what is perceived as warm and full bodied was to me, a problem with the shallow x-over slope.
Along with the crossover parts change, if you look closely enough, on both the left and right rear side there, vibration dampening mat was applied.
Changes from stock soundwise after break in:
Transparency and transient response increase
Widened soundstage
More controlled, TAUGHT bass with no low end bloom
More realism.....I don't have a rediculous high end upstream source but I do have:
Sony CDP-303ES- modified
Carver TFM-35x- modifiedI have the variable output of the CDP going straight into my amp with:
MIT interconnects
Carol 10 gauge speaker cable ( 10 ft per side )It was worth the upgrade!
