Back in the day, say 10 years ago when I bought mine, they had this cool program where if youu could sell 3 pairs of mmgs in the 1st year, they gave you your $500 investment back.So I sold 2 to some friends (I turned in their serial numbers to magnepan) and my dad bought a pair which were shipped to me, and I gave him the check when they sent it to me. SO $500 spent, and I had 2 pairs of speakers.
I am guessing by your reaction, that they no longer do that...back then it was called "An offer you can't resist" and I just assumed that since they have that non their website, that they were still doing it.
