I'm not sure where I stand on this one. The concept *is* rational. I have an *old* pair of JBL speakers with factory filled and sealed crossover modules.My crossover enclosures are wood. They are also integrated with the panels as their bases. It would seem that my design is the type that would benefit most from the procedure. Having separate, external boxes that I could rest on isolation devices would change things. Perhaps rev2 of the stands should take that approach.
I'm not looking for a consensus. I just want to read various opinions, and the justifications for those opinions. I'd like to get off the fence, but I have no idea on which side to land.
