I'm going to try just the Jolida first. The dealer told me if I thought the sound was too "tubey," a swap to KT77 output tubes would bring cleaner sound and more watts. I ordered a matched octet of JJ Telsa KT77s for $120.
I'm going to give the stock tubes a chance though. I've got a matched pair of NOS Mullard 12AT7s for backup drivers and several pairs of 12AX7s for the preamp.
It should be here, hopefully, on Friday.
