Re: SVS sub

Since I am sending full signal from my stereo pre-amp outputs, I'm using the crossover on the sub.

For the 1.4s, I found a dial setting of 45 hz sounded about right. For the MMGs, I have it set at 70 hz. Once I install the MaggieMate high pass filters I will no doubt have to re-adjust. I use a Radio Shack db meter and the Sheffield/Autosound 2000 Test Disc (pink noise tracks 47 through 50) to fine tune crossover and amp sensitivity settings, with the goal of achieving as flat bass response as possible. I then make the final tweaks by ear to my liking.

I'm using the stock 20 hz tune on the sub, though I plan on experimenting with the 16 hz tune (one port plug and subsonic filter set at 16 hz).
