Remember, the room you are in has an incredible influence on what you hear, so you shouldn't just rule out the CC3 based on my experience - I just suggested that you should try to hear it first. In your room, the CC3 might sound great... I know there are some folks here who have the CC3 and like it, so please check it out for yourself.I've never tried a Maggie on its side as a center. I saw the theater of the guy who was using MG 3.6s across the front (one on its side on a custom Mye stand). I'd love to hear that - although maybe with MG 1.6s instead of 3.6s. 8^)
Although I am on a different track now (i.e., Maggies for stereo audio and Vandersteens in my HT), I still play with the idea of an all Maggie HT... I like the Maggies better than the Vandersteens but (I guess) my attention is divided when I'm watching a movie whereas when I am listening to music, that's all I'm doing.
Good luck with your setup.
