Below is a link to a review of the Panny SA-XR55. They compared it to a $2200 amp, the SONNETEER BRONTE! Although the SONNETEER won, the vote was split 5-4!!! Not bad considering the panny is a $250 product.Read the review. I think you would find it very interesting.

Plus the Panny has a huge number of usefull features and capabilities. The most useful to me are the 4 digital inputs, the subout that filters above 100 hz and its 7.1 Home Theater capabilities.
Plus remember this, IMO MMGs need a subwoofer.
